This state park is located on the southeastern edge of Austin. My family enjoys visiting the area for hiking and fishing.
Molten lava from Pilot Knob volcano near the Balcones Fault.
Turtles sunbathing.
Ruins of the old McKinney Homestead.
Cactus growing on trees...
A great place for shade when the temperatures climb in Austin.
Careful while fishing. Looks like a Christmas tree with all those bobbins.
